We are very excited along with Lyttelton Sea Scouts to team up with  Australia SailGP team for the NZ SailGP event in March!

We had a great time last year supporting Team USA, our Club burgee was displayed on their mast, and those of us who went on the Tech tour were very lucky to meet Jimmy Spithill.

Australia tops the leader board with NZ not far behind,  Australian Tom Slingsby at 39 is the oldest skipper competing and has thrown down the gauntlet to  younger crews to “start winning races”.

It should be fantastic racing in Sydney on the 24th and 25th of February and we’ve ordered a brisk North- Easterly  for Whakaraupo Harbour in March.
